To harness the energy of youth in purpose is to give them a sense of direction and purpose like no other. To do so with joy and love is the life-flow of the blood of Christ in the redeemed life. Some of your children are approaching the age of determining their choice and path, and remember: God is faithful to hear and to answer your prayer. He will be at work in their hearts to guide them Home. Be not afraid - the journey of trial and temptation will be for His good and noble purpose. Feint not, rejoice and behold the precious Saviour, for the Father is faithful to the finished work on His cross of suffering and victory. Much love to you, dear family.

I’m so glad I don’t live under the law like you guys-God does not want us to wear head dresses or wear dresses-it’s not honoring to him because it’s under the law as “religious dress” I’m so glad I’m free and don’t live bound to rules -I feel bad that your kids don’t have friends around - that they can’t just go for a sleep over or go to school to develop their social skills -they will get a kick in the pants when they grow up and leave you for the big cities and night lives -

My brother in Christ, you are not alone as I have struggled with anxiety as well. My father was a mechanical engineer and very gifted in mathematics and many other things, and my mother as well. Suffice it to say that I struggled both in reading and mathematics. I struggled with basic arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percents, fractions, and reading a ruler). I never got to algebra or anything above that. To this day, I'm almost 59, and I still struggle with mathematical concepts. Reading was and still is difficult to understand and comprehend. My father was brilliant in the field of engineering, and my mother with reading, but they became frustrated when I didn't understand, which was usually all the time. There was tons of yelling and crying. My struggle with learning started in 1970 in kindergarten and through high school in 1984 to the present. Because I struggled in school, I was an easy target for being teased and bullied, managers at jobs constantly having to repeat themselves, and parents who were not understanding, patient, or empathetic. So fast forward to 1987 when I moved out of my parents' house to live on my own. I was a pretty young Christian, saved in 1984, now on my own. My parents were supportive but frustrated with my constant problems, physical problems, mental problems, and financial problems. I was anxious all the time because of my choices to sin and struggle with understanding people, life, jobs, relationships, constantly making the same mistakes, and continued sin. Anxiety was a major part of my life! I struggled with gluttony and other sins that I was thinking somehow my sinful lifestyle would would bring me some type of happiness. Not sleeping was a major problem, and just recently, I came to understand that God wanted to spend time with me to know me and for me to know Him. He desires for me to draw near to Him because He loves me! I've been studying Exodus and Numbers and how God delivered the Israelites out from the bondage of 400 years of slavery, the parting of the Red Sea, God's provision of Manna, water, and some meat, their groaning and complaining, and thinking somehow it would be better back in Egypt! God was patient with them and with us. Thank you, God, for Caleb and Joshua for believing in Your promises! My worry and anxiety is basically not believing or trusting that God will do what He says He will do. I hope you'll be encouraged by: Isaiah 41:10, Job 13:15, Psalm 118:6-8, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, and Philippians 4:6-7. I am very encouraged by your music ministry, and as I prepare each day to study His Word, I love to sing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs with the body of Christ! Thank you for sharing your story. I really suggedt building an OUTDOOR kitchen with a sink (it can drain into a bucket!!) before tearing out your current kitchen. Build a deck or patio for it. Then do the tear out in spring.

I’ve heard marriage described as an equilateral triangle- the husband and wife are at the two bottom points, Christ at the top. As husband and wife draw closer to God moving up toward the apex, they get closer to each other. ❤

Ok, from what I've followed along, all of your projects require about 37 hours per day, 11 days a week, combined. All I can say is, I wish I had your energy!

Very sorry to hear that all the children no longer want to be part of the chanel but understand that maybe oldest have had enough of repeating the manuscript. I think renovation, gardening, backing, singing might be interesting but not so much talking. Above all i enjoyed watching how disciplined, polite ang God loving are your children.
